She’s worked with top names like CBS Television, The Ritz Carlton Magazine, Consumer Reports, and the National Guitar Museum, and has created for music icons including Metallica, Dave Matthews, and Lenny Kravitz.
Her designs have graced Broadway shows like The Titanic and Victor Victoria, as well as major guitar magazines, logos, album covers, and national publications. Shroon’s passion for typography, color, and texture shows in everything she does—from abstract florals to playful mixed media pieces.
With a deep love for creativity and a career full of accolades (including a Webby Award and multiple design honors), she often says: “I’m just messing around.” But we know there’s magic in every piece she makes.
Artist Statement
I love the Hudson Valley and especially our unique river towns. With its rich cultural influences, expressive street art, and the striking contrast between historic charm and modern edge — all brought to life by the most dynamic people in the country. There’s a sense that anything can happen here, and that same energy fuels my creative process.
I embrace the uncertainty of each piece, allowing line, composition, and texture to lead the way. Within that evolving chaos, familiar and comforting forms begin to surface. Whether in the expressive abstractions of my paintings or the intricate density and rhythm of my pen and ink work, each line carries a pulse — movement, emotion, and vitality.
My studio is alive with music and motion. I'm often immersed in the physicality of painting — dancing, singing, experimenting — fully engaged in the act of discovery.
Over the years, I’ve cultivated a multifaceted art career. As a former creative director, I’ve led design projects for internationally recognized musicians, magazines, fashion features, mobile apps, and data visualizations. I’ve collaborated with — and commissioned — thousands of illustrators and photographers. This depth of experience has shaped a versatile visual language that informs my fine art practice today. My work reflects a love for stylistic diversity, yet is grounded in a consistent emotional intensity and dynamic execution.
I approach each piece with curiosity, energy, and the belief that art — like New York — thrives on contrast, complexity, and bold expression.
