Maxine Nodel

Maxine Nodel is an award-winning, versatile visual artist with a B.F.A. from Cooper Union. She exhibits and sells her work nationally and internationally and has had her work on public display throughout the NY metropolitan area.

In 2013, she was named ‘Artist of the Month’ at the Edward Hopper House Museum and was invited to give a public talk there in 2018 about her design art.

Maxine is also an award-winning arts educator and received a Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation Grant in 2002 to create Millennium Art Academy, a Bronx art HS that went on to win the Lincoln Center Institute First-Place Award for Most Imaginative Arts Curriculum in New York City in 2009.
